Dragos – the intelligent bolt robot
KEY COMPONENT IN OUR QUALITY ASSURANCE WORK
It’s universally accepted that the bolted joint is the most
secure fastening method. That’s naturally why we chose this
method for our S-2000 and Super Turnknife systems. Most
things have two sides, and the bolted joint is no exception.
The advantages offered by the bolted joint are that you can
easily calculate the tightening power needed to secure the
fastening and check that sufficient power is applied, while
the use of such bolts also minimizes potential damage during
rough cutting operations. The downside is the large number
of bolts that have to be loosened and tightened, which is
hard, time-consuming and tedious work.
WE’VE NOW ELIMINATED THE DOWNSIDE
Our intelligent knife-alignment robot, Dragos, eliminates
all the disadvantages associated with bolted-joint systems.
Dragos independently loosens and tightens the bolts thus
simplifying and increasing the efficiency and safety of
assembly work.
Normally, Dragos is included in our service agreement as
part of our quality assurance program. Naturally, it can
also be purchased separately
