| Iggesund, Sweden
- The third external upgraded ScanChip, Iggesund Tools’ optical chip analyzer system, has been installed in Smurfit Kappa Kraftliner in northern Sweden. During the first year the ScanChip will analyze chips from the sampler after the softwood chipper. Later a belt conveyor will be installed to feed the ScanChip system with chips from the hardwood chipper. |

Iggesund, Sweden
- Gällö Sawmill in Sweden has chosen Iggesund Tools to supply two pairs of PowerHeads with TurnKnife® System in their saw line. The installation was done in their Linck VM30 canters.
The Swedish sawmill Bergkvist Insjön has recently replaced one of their EWD Spiral disc canters with Iggesund Tools’ PowerHead. The new canter with 6 knife pockets has the Iggesund’s TurnKnife® System III technology. The sawmill has chosen PowerHead to get a better chip quality and a faster knife changing time.
Iggesund Tools’ upgraded optical chip analyzer system, ScanChip, has been installed in Billerud Gruvön Mill in Sweden. During the first time the ScanChip will be used as a laboratory analyzing equipment. Later the ScanChip system will be moved to an on-line position before the continuous softwood digester.
Pölky Sawmill in Finland has installed Iggesund Tools’ PowerHead with TurnKnife® System in their saw line. The installation was done in one of their ARI canters.

- Green Triangle Forest Products - Lakeside mill located in Mount Gambier, South Australia, has ordered 4 Iggesund Tools Powerhead canter heads for their primary and secondary canters. Installation is scheduled for march of 2008. This will be the second mill in Australia using Iggesund's Powerhead canters. The Weyerhaeuser mill located in Tumut, New South Wales has been operating Powerheads for 2 years now. |
